INDIANAPOLIS (July 3, 2025) – Indiana Right to Life President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Fichter issued this statement today regarding the passage of the federal budget bill that includes defunding Planned Parenthood.
“This is yet another moment that’s been a longtime coming. We are proud of the members of Indiana’s congressional delegation who honored their campaign commitments to Hoosiers and supported the measure to defund Planned Parenthood in the federal budget. By removing taxpayer dollars from the business of abortion, new opportunities can now arise across Indiana and the nation to expand services and support for pregnant mothers and their babies.”
