Mary Rose Green, representing Right to Life of Indianapolis, was named Saturday as the winner of the 2022 Indiana State Oratory Contest held at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Mary Rose was awarded an all-expense paid trip for herself and one guardian to the National Right to Life Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, where she will represent Indiana in the National Oratory Contest Competition. Second, Third, and Fourth place winners received cash prizes.

Indiana Right to Life State Oratory Contest strives to promote the ability of high school juniors and seniors to share their pro-life view with others. State participants are those students which placed first at his or her local Indiana Right to Life affiliate. Speeches given are 4-7 minutes in length. Contestants are scored on introduction, content, presentation, and conclusion.
